Car Shows Miami FL

Where the Community Gathers and the Standards Are Highest.

Car shows are where the culture lives. Where a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air still stops traffic fifty feet away, where a 1990s Japanese sports car commands the same reverence as a pre-war coupe, and where the people who actually care about automobiles find each other. Detailing Vice is part of that culture — not just as a service provider, but as active participants in the South Florida car show community.

"Car shows are where the culture lives — and where our standards are put to the test."

Our Presence

At Shows Across South Florida.

Detailing Vice attends and participates in car shows throughout the Miami, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami area. We set up at major events, bring vehicles from our client roster, and stay involved in the conversations that happen at show level — with collectors, enthusiasts, restorers, and the casual onlookers who see a particular car and can't walk past it.

This isn't a marketing exercise. We attend shows because they're where we belong. Following our work from a paint correction appointment to a show stage and seeing the result under natural light — that's the job.

Why We Attend Shows

Community, Passion, and Standards.

The car show circuit in South Florida runs year-round. From early-morning local cruises in the Miami parking lots to major concours events at nearby estates and Coral Gables show grounds, there's a show for every level of vehicle and every level of involvement. We participate across that spectrum because the community matters to us.

Shows also set the standard. A vehicle prepped for competition-level judging — where judges get on their knees with a flashlight and examine panel gaps, rubber trim condition, and engine bay cleanliness with the same scrutiny they apply to the paint — has to be correct in ways that a road-going vehicle never demands. That standard, applied to our shop work, makes every service we perform better.

How We Prep Vehicles for Shows

Working Backward from Judging.

Show preparation is its own discipline within detailing. A vehicle that looks great on a sunny afternoon can reveal flaws under the harsh sidelighting of a show tent that weren't visible before. Show prep at Detailing Vice works backward from the judging environment:

01
Paint Correction

Completed days before the show — not the day before — to allow polishing oils to fully clear and the corrected paint's full depth to become visible.

02
Final Detail

White-glove finishing close to show day: final glass polish, tire and trim dressing at the correct sheen, finishing detail spray, and a careful multi-angle walk-around inspection.

03
Engine Bay & Glass

Engine bay detailed to the correct standard for the vehicle's class — concours-correct original look or perfectly detailed modified bay. Glass polished inside and out. Door jambs cleaned and dressed.

04
Final Inspection

Undercarriage addressed if the show class requires it. Final walk-around confirms every surface is show-ready before the car leaves.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

Don't see your question? Contact our studio.

How far in advance should I book a show prep detail?

For a significant show — concours, judged competition, regional events — we recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance. This allows time for paint correction, coating, and the multiple-stage prep process without rushing any step. Last-minute show prep that compresses the timeline produces compromised results, and we'd rather tell you that than accept the booking and underdeliver.

Can you prep a vehicle for a show it's never been shown before?

Absolutely. Many of our show prep clients are bringing a vehicle to competition for the first time. We assess the vehicle thoroughly, identify everything that needs to be addressed for the intended show class and judging criteria, and build a prep plan that gets it ready within your timeline.

Do you attend shows outside the Miami area?

We participate in events throughout the South Florida corridor — Broward and Miami-Dade counties are our primary range, though we attend select events further afield. Follow us for upcoming event announcements, or contact us directly if you have a specific show in mind.
