Bring Your Wheels Back to Life — Curb Rash and All

Wheel Restoration for Classic Cars, Exotics, and Everything in Between

A set of wheels in poor condition undermines even the finest detail job. Curb rash, brake dust staining, corrosion pitting, and finish degradation are among the most visible flaws on any vehicle — and among the most commonly overlooked by shops that focus only on paint and coating. At Detailing Vice in Miami, FL, rims repair and wheel restoration are a dedicated specialty, handled with the same precision we apply to every other surface.

Classic & Vintage

Rims Repair for Classics.

Classic and vintage vehicles require a measured approach — period-correct results achieved with modern chemistry and without the risk of damaging irreplaceable finishes. Rims Repair for Exotics.

Exotic and supercar finishes demand a different protocol from the first wash. We work with manufacturer-specific paint systems, ultra-thin clearcoats, and factory matte or satin finishes that require dedicated chemistry. If your car costs more than most houses, the team working on it should know exactly what they're doing — and we do.

Our Process

How We Work.

01

Vehicle Assessment

We perform a full paint inspection — measuring paint thickness, identifying all defects, and documenting the starting condition before any work begins.

02

Decontamination

Two-bucket wash, iron decontamination spray, and clay bar treatment to remove all bonded surface contamination before polishing.

03

Paint Correction

Machine polishing to remove swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. Compounds and pads are selected based on paint hardness and defect depth.

04

Panel Wipe-Down

IPA wipe-down on all corrected panels to remove polish oils and residues, revealing the true corrected finish before protection is applied.

05

Protection Application

Ceramic coating, wax, or sealant applied panel by panel to lock in the correction and provide lasting protection against environmental contaminants.

06

Final Inspection

We conduct a final walk-around under inspection lighting with the client to review the result and go over any aftercare instructions.
