Our Reach
Aventura is where Detailing Vice lives. Our shop sits inside the same 33180 corridor that runs from the Aventura Mall down to William Lehman Causeway, and most of the cars we touch in any given week belong to people who live within four miles of our bay doors. That proximity matters. It means we know the way the late-afternoon sun rakes across the Williams Island bridge, what palm pollen does to a black hood parked under a Royal in Aventura Lakes, and exactly how aggressive the salt mist gets the second you cross the causeway toward Sunny Isles. We built Detailing Vice for the cars and the climate of this exact zip code.
We work on classics, exotics, and high-end daily drivers — Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, vintage Mercedes-Benz, restomod muscle, Aston Martins, Range Rovers, Rolls-Royces, and the classic 60s and 70s collectors that quietly come out of the garage on a clear weekend. Every job is built around two things: a finish that holds up to South Florida, and a level of care that makes sense for the car you brought us.
Get in TouchWhy Choose Us
Aventura is unusual. It was incorporated in 1995 around a planned luxury core — Aventura Mall, Turnberry Isle, Country Club Drive, Mystic Pointe, Porto Vita — and that planning shows up in the way people care for their vehicles here. Garages are clean, cars are stored properly, and owners in towers like Peninsula or Hidden Bay tend to keep multiple vehicles. They want a detailer who treats a 70s air-cooled 911 differently than a current-model G-Wagen, and who can talk specifically about why a ceramic coating that performs in Boca won't necessarily perform on a car parked daily on a high-floor garage at Echo Aventura.
That's the conversation we have. We don't run a wash tunnel. Every vehicle is hand-finished, decontaminated, and treated to the exact spec the paint requires — single-stage on a vintage car gets handled differently than modern ceramic clear, and modern matte paint is its own discipline. Our reputation in Aventura comes from explaining the why before we touch the car, then delivering a finish that stands up the next time you pull onto Biscayne Boulevard.

A nano-ceramic coating is the single biggest paint-protection upgrade you can make on a car kept in Aventura. UV index here sits at 9 to 11 most of the year — the EPA's 'extreme' band — and ordinary wax breaks down inside a few weeks under that load. Ceramic forms a durable, semi-permanent layer that resists UV oxidation, repels contaminants, and makes weekly washing dramatically easier. We carry multi-year and multi-stage coating options and we'll specify the right tier based on whether the car is a daily, a weekender, or a garaged collector.
Book This Service →Paint Protection Film is a self-healing, optically-clear urethane that takes the hits ceramic can't. For cars that see real road time on US-1 or the Lehman Causeway — rock chips off the bridge expansion joints, sand carried in from the beach corridor, debris on I-95 — PPF is what protects the actual paint underneath. We do partial-front, track packs, and full-vehicle wraps using premium films. Our installs are tucked, wrapped edges, no visible seams on factory body lines.
Book This Service →Most cars that come in for ceramic or PPF need correction first. Swirl marks, holograms from previous wash tunnels, water-spot etching from calcium-heavy South Florida hard water, transit damage on a new delivery — all of it gets diagnosed under proper paint-correction lighting before we make a single pass. We run multi-stage correction on darker colors and one-step refinement on most factory finishes, and we measure clear coat thickness before any compound work to make sure we're working within safe limits.
Book This Service →Aventura interiors take a beating most owners don't notice. Sunscreen residue on leather, salt tracked in from the beach run, sand in the seat tracks, AC condensation that breeds mildew if it isn't pulled out. We deep-clean and condition leather (we use leather-specific conditioners, not the silicone-shine product the express car washes use), steam-extract carpets and seat fabric, treat headliners, and decontaminate vents. For collector and exotic interiors with Alcantara, we hand-brush rather than steam-extract to preserve the nap.
Book This Service →Maintenance washes are where coatings live or die. Aventura's hard water will leave mineral spotting on a coated car if it's washed wrong, so we use foam decontamination, a proper two-bucket method, plush microfiber, deionized rinse on coated vehicles, and pH-neutral coating-safe shampoo. For owners in Williams Island, Turnberry Village, and Porto Vita, we offer maintenance schedules built around the typical garage-to-causeway driving pattern.
Book This Service →Single-stage paint, lacquer, factory-original cellulose, hand-laid carbon, exposed weave, satin and matte finishes, chrome, polished aluminum — every one of these requires a different hand. Our classic and exotic work is the reason most of our Aventura clients first call us. We wet-sand and refinish single-stage paint without burning through, we maintain factory orange peel where originality matters, and we treat museum-quality cars like museum pieces.

South Florida Climate
Aventura sits roughly two miles inland from the Atlantic on the west side of the Intracoastal. That's a meaningful distance — the salt load is real but it's lower than what hits the towers right on Collins Avenue. What you trade off, though, is more direct UV exposure during the long summer hours, more pollen build-up under mature trees in Aventura Lakes and the older sections of Country Club Drive, and harder water from the city supply that leaves visible spotting on dark paint if a car is washed in the driveway and air-dried.
Add to that lovebug season — May and again in September — when the splatter is acidic enough to etch clear coat in under thirty minutes if the car sits in the sun. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. Even a passing tropical storm drives an enormous volume of salt mist inland from the beach, and the rain that follows is rarely just rain. This is why we recommend coated finishes on any daily-driven Aventura vehicle and why our maintenance washes use deionized water on coated cars.

About the Studio
Detailing Vice is built and operated by detailers who came up through the exotic and classic side of the trade. We are headquartered in Aventura, we work out of a controlled environment with proper lighting and dust-managed bays, and our team also runs the Detailing Vice Academy — a training program where working detailers around the country come to learn paint correction, ceramic, and PPF technique. That academy work is the reason our process is documented and consistent: every car gets the same checklist, the same light inspection, the same finishing standards. It's not a side hobby and it's not a salon. It's a working operation focused on getting the finish right and keeping it right.

FAQ
Realistically, a properly applied multi-year ceramic on a garage-kept Aventura car will perform at full strength for two to five years depending on the product tier and the care it gets between washes. Outdoor-stored or oceanfront vehicles get less time at the top of the curve because of salt and UV load. We always rate coatings honestly — we'd rather under-promise on duration and over-deliver on finish.
Yes. We coordinate concierge pick-up and drop-off throughout Aventura, including controlled access at Williams Island, Turnberry, Porto Vita, Peninsula, Hidden Bay, and Mystic Pointe. We work with building security in advance so the handoff is seamless.
Yes — and carefully. Single-stage paint behaves nothing like modern clear coat. We've corrected and refinished factory single-stage on 60s and 70s European and American cars. The first conversation is always about preserving originality versus maximizing finish, and the answer is different for every car.
It depends on use. If the car never sees full sun, never gets driven in rain, and never crosses the causeway, ceramic mostly buys you a wash advantage. If it does any of those things, the coating earns its money on the first detail you don't have to do.
Every one to two weeks for daily drivers, every three to four weeks for garaged weekenders, with a proper coating-safe shampoo and a deionized final rinse. Skip the express wash tunnels — they eat coatings.
Get Started
We're booking appointments at our Aventura facility. Drop-off, pick-up, and concierge service are all available. The fastest way to start is to send us photos of the car, tell us where you keep it, and tell us what you want from the finish. We'll spec a package that fits the vehicle, the storage, and the use — not a pre-printed menu.
