The invisible shield for your paint. Preserve the finish. Protect the investment
Paint protection film is the most physically durable paint defense available — period. Where ceramic coating adds hardness and chemical resistance, PPF adds impact absorption. Road debris, rock chips, key scratches, parking lot scuffs, and the daily physical abuse of driving: PPF takes those hits so your paint doesn't. At Detailing Vice in Miami, FL, we install PPF on everything from classic cars with irreplaceable original finishes to new exotics that rolled off a transporter last week.
Paint protection film — also called clear bra — is a thermoplastic urethane film applied directly over your vehicle's painted surfaces. Modern PPF is optically transparent, nearly invisible in normal viewing conditions, and engineered with a self-healing top coat that allows light surface scratches and swirl marks to disappear with heat exposure (either sunlight or a heat gun).
The film physically absorbs impact. A rock chip that would permanently scar unprotected paint simply dents the film — and in many cases, the film heals itself. This makes PPF the preferred protection for vehicles driven in environments where chips are unavoidable, for vehicles where the original paint is irreplaceable, and for exotic cars where a single paint chip can cost thousands to repair properly.

Classic & Vintage
Classic and vintage vehicles require a measured approach — period-correct results achieved with modern chemistry and without the risk of damaging irreplaceable finishes. We understand original lacquers, single-stage enamels, and the specific considerations each era of vehicle demands. Every classic in our bay is treated as the irreplaceable object it is.

Exotic & Luxury
Exotic & Luxury
Exotic and supercar finishes demand a different protocol from the first wash. We work with manufacturer-specific paint systems, ultra-thin clearcoats, and factory matte or satin finishes that require dedicated chemistry. If your car costs more than most houses, the team working on it should know exactly what they're doing — and we do.
Our Process
We perform a full paint inspection — measuring paint thickness, identifying all defects, and documenting the starting condition before any work begins.
Two-bucket wash, iron decontamination spray, and clay bar treatment to remove all bonded surface contamination before polishing.
Machine polishing to remove swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. Compounds and pads are selected based on paint hardness and defect depth.
IPA wipe-down on all corrected panels to remove polish oils and residues, revealing the true corrected finish before protection is applied.
